it is a pity that you make such ridiculous comments and such allegations - instead of being proud of the Athletes who have qualified, you seek through spurious comments to cast allegations - definitely not a patriot of athlet ...

Nonsense, what about doing the right thing and telling the truth for once in our wretched lives?

  • deborah 7 years ago

the right thing is being told and should be supported and the good thing is that it has been believed by the wider community - so instead of making problems, get behind the athletes and support them

I really wonder why we choose to do these things to ourselves.
Just because you run for election with the incumbent and didn't win, you must bring him down.
    it is a shame

totally agree and what is very worrying that this is not the spirit of sport or athletics that the people who tried to win power are showing - having seen how they behaved in Athens 2004, I am incredulous that they are trying ...

Mr writer get your stories right. 3 individuals and a relay team. The 16 is the total number of sports men across all sports who have qualified.

16 is the total number of sportsmen and women across 5 sports (i think 5) who have qualified for rio. I think the confusion is over the word ATHLETES.

  • Andrew Owusu 7 years ago

THE same group of girls who run the qualifying time ran 43.72secs last year in Congo. The individual 100m/200m times close to or at the latter competition were (11.61 flings; 11.81; beatrice 11.65; janet 23.48 [200m])

    Hi Martin,
How ignorant can you be? Do you know how difficult or impossible it is to fake a photo finish?

Andrew Owuse is working in USA as a part time coach so was he here at Cape Coast or why does he get so involved in issues here in Ghana. The media were there in Cape Coast to capture the results. Put them out please
