Ghana's track & fields athletes have not yet attained the Olympics standards and are still struggling to do just that. That is an indication that they will not win any medals and will be lucky if they made it out of the event ... read full comment

That is an indication that they will not win any medals and will be lucky if they made it out of the events qualifying rounds. Blaming the weather in South Africa is not an excuse for their lackluster performance. It should be noted that August is also Brazil's winter month, therefore look for the athletes not to perform well in the cold.
