These are not politicians but they have sold their intelligence and conscience since getting into the political arena. What they did is indefensible. Let readers educate themselves about AMARTEY QUAYE and the others' role in the murder of the supreme court justices. This is how everything started. Unless we do something, there will be a recurrence. We still hope the attorney general (a government appointee) will take the steps to prosecute these individuals CRIMINALLY for issuing death threats. So that they will go to PRISON again for criminal infractions. It will be the height of FOLLY for the president to grant these people pardon. A word to the wise is enough.

This is supposed to be a writer and a mother. My question to her is: should every offence be punished with incarceration? Is custodial sentence the only means to correct offences? Why do we have the word 'pardon' in our vocabulary. Judges who were caught demanding and accepting bribes were not processed for court but merely dismissed. Is there crimes against humanity less sever than the crime of the Montie 3, albeit a threat? What we are saying is the punishment is too harsh relative to the crime committed and besides why did the SC constituted itself into the investigative agent, prosecutor and judge? It was a miscarriage of justice. Besides, Oye Lithur and all those who signed the petition were only exercising their constitutional right of freedom of expression.

3. Being a lawyer, he knows the implication of a spoken word, thus in matters of threats, words must be taken carefully.
4. In as much as the Sam Okuzato was speaking in parables, the police don't recognize such speech when identifying elements of threat of death, that threat exist in Sam Okudzato speech, what happens if some lunatic is inspired by his threat and kills the president. Expressly he is inviting harm to the person of the president, no matter how he tries to conceal it.
So you see, all those attributing NDC's position to a lack of understanding the English language must appreciate that the man involved was speaking from a bitter heart, not out of a love for the President nor his political success. Oye Lithur was organizing women to go after him and now she is at the forefront of trying to pardon people who threatened the lives of Supreme Court Justices including the CJ who is a woman and you don't see the hypocrisy. Please you cannot ask for mercy for one group and condemn another for political expediency. That is the problem we have here. Politics have made people who ought to know better do some of the most disgraceful things one can thing of. There is no justification for the woman who is supposed to fight for women's right to choose to fight for rights based on political affiliation.
