They just like to "follow". Whatever move US makes, they copy. Genetically modified "food" is responsible for the surge in cancer cases, there are several diseases connected to "GMO" usage, the taste is also horrible.

Use your education to solve problems instead of choosing the easy route. Invest more in farming(agriculture), educate our farmers and equip them with tools to make agriculture interesting.
Many countries have said NO to GMO and Ghana must say NO too. You must not go down in history as one who changed our God given seeds into these inferior GMO seeds.

is this woman ignorant or is she lying on purpose? 1) GM seeds are more expensive than conventional ones and you must use fertiliser & chemicals and they are hungry for water. Much higher input costs, you must have access to a good market if you want to try this without facing financial ruin.
2. GMOs DO NOT thrive where other crops don't germinate - they are either pest resistant or herbicide resistant and not designed for harsh environments
3. You may not replant GMOs because they are protected by both plant breeders rights and patents making it illegal to replant.
