I experienced it at the tema poly clinic in january this year when i accompanied my pregnant wife there for antenatal care. Its waow.... no reciept ooo massa!!!!!

I was shocked to see how e NHIS office in Bolga overcrowded by people fr registration and renewal. Come to my facility in Bole n see how we re able to satisfy our clients. Our midwife has to buy certain items with her own money to stock e labour room. If you can't afford to buy pad, detol, soap, n even your own used cloths fr delivery, is better you don't even conceive. How much do pple buy a plate of fried rice in Accra n you want health to be absolute free? It is failure on politicians to politicised NHIS, it should opperate without gvt interferance bt we see e opposite.

My dear people of Ghana,this report is well researched and I appreciate the concern ,time and sleepless hours to publish this report.Yes your wife and yourself planned to have a baby after they feel they are mature,and capable to raise a family like Samuel did.Now in Ghana only few government/formally employed people pay tax.Hitherto,any person above the age of 18yrs and not in school/not having any ducument could be stopped on any route and asked by an authorised official to produce/pay basic rate,even property like a bicycle "lapo".To day where are these laws?We are simply in a political free bus blaming leaders who have failed to call an elephant a bush animal.Every second, munite,hour and day the few formally employed are shoulderi ng the burden of the strong,irresponsible youth in the name of youth employment,free free things to the extent of free health care .Who told Ghanaians that it is possible to provide free health care in an undeveloped,lazy and irresponsible society?In every society there are bound to be few needy ones,and I personally suggest Ghanaian should be bold to reject cheap and poor quality health care .Government must come out clearly with realistic cost sharing arrangement that will not promote laziness and irresponsibility on the part of the health care seeker and the inevitable propensity to compromise poor quality health care on the part of the health care provider.Let no Ghanaian say that party Sv,Tz,JM broght NHIS,Free maternal care etc for CHEAP political gain.Politicians from all divide fear to widen the informal tax net because the irresponsible opponent may use that to get cheap votes from the many Ignorant electorates.
