I am in agreement with this Public Health expert. .. Some bacterial such as anthrax etc., can linger on for several years and still survive and cause harm to humans, especially the vulnerable ones.

When the MP talks about the cemetery not being used for .."a long time"..., how long is this "idle" period..?
My advice is to vigorously test water samples from these water sources by the Ghana Standards Board and to make sure they pass and/or meet the allowable specifications before being certified for the owners to operate and sell to the general public.... or an epidemic could be waiting to happen.
