I am not a fan of the government, but the level of dependence on the government by everyone is the reason Ghana is not moving forward. Too many parasites depriving the people who need governments help most from getting the help they need. Not a day goes by without you hearing a group of people or institution blaming the government for their lack of progress. Governments job is not to help businesses, governments job is to create the right environment so that businesses can flourish, and though there are problems, no one is preventing Dr. Agbeve and other herbalists from setting up an e-commerce website with a payment processor, advertising his products online and exporting directly to international markets. I have heard there are foreigners in his herbal stores all the time. Why should someone come directly to his store when he can go to them right into their homes on the internet. This is not the job of the government, it is called business acumen. Think and stop depending on the government for everything.
