Even in Accra the capital of Ghana, some part of the city has a very bad roads, not constructed, how much those in the jungle and the rural areas will have their roads be constructed by the Government. We should just forget about thinking that the politicians have brains to do something better for the citizenry.

Who told you that politicians think about the people. Why is everybody becoming a politician now? That is where the "dough" is. That is where they can get the contracts, get scholarships for their children.

It is a shame that it should come to this in Accra. I can't imagine what goes on at Afram Plains, Sabzugu Tatale, and other places like "Otwe bewe Abroo."

I think wheelbarrows are more comfortable and more reliable in Ghana than ambulance . They seldom break down.

After hearing a couple’s complaints that their intimate life wasn't what it used to be, a sex counselor suggests they vary their position.
“You should try the wheelbarrow,” the counselor says. “Lift her legs from behind, and off you go.”
The husband is raring to try it.
“Well, OK,” the hesitant wife agrees, “but on two conditions. First, if it hurts, you have to stop right away, and second, you have to promise we won’t go past my parents’ house.”

With just a year left for us to achieve the United Nations Millenium Development Goals there is growing irritation amongst concerned citizens and stakeholders on the lack of information from the President and the MPs (representatives) on how we have fared so far.
The government must provide the needed information as soon as possible.
What happened to the national ambulance service?? Are we having trouble acquiring vehicles.
Oh weep with me. Let us weep some more for Ghana!!
In the 1970s a state owned enterprise was setup to produce cars wholely designed and manufactured in Ghana with the exception of the engine. We called the car ¨the Boafo¨. Nowadays none can be seen on our roads.
That was the wisdom earlier governments had from the pre-independence days. Rather than building upon it successive governments allowed the company to collapse and the trained engineers departed. If we had continued............
We then switched to assembling buses with parts imported from Germany for a short while.
Let no one rejoice over this. Offshore production of tatas would add to our GDP (In the spanish definition) but would not add to our GNI. It wouldn´t make us richer.
