With WASSCE and BECE there is police presence and any student caught cheating is immediately arrested. University exams demand even greater policing.
It is high time we started awarding Doctor of Medicine (M.D) to MBChB students who have conducted the necessary research projects. Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees.
The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.

"Wow," said the man, "I'm going up to donate sperm, and the sperm bank pays $100." The woman then walked off angrily. The next day, the man and woman met at the elevator once again. "Fancy meeting you again. Where you off to today?" "Sperm bank," she said with her mouth full.

Do you guys out there listen to advice? If you want people to donate blood make use of incentives to attract them.I have said in this forum that you will need to start from the secondary schools to Government departments.Get corporations to sponsor blood drives by providing goodies in any form especially since people are hungry in our country. If they can sponsor sports why not a matter of such importance? The President and his ministers need to take the lead in this regard.
