They should stop being hypocritical.Truth is that chemical antibiotics are cause of diarhea and other weakening ailments by destroying good bacteria in the body, especially digestive bacteria in the colon, thereby destroying immunity and opening the system to further attacks. Natural antibiotics like garlic, clove and ginger pose no such threats.A word to the wise.

A wake up call indeed. The threat has been with us for years. MOH should find a way of bringing the essence of the report to the attention of the general public. I once praised a young pharmacist at PokuaseAccra who refused( politely) to sell me an antibiotic for which I had mislaid a prescription note. He was 100 percent correct. The bit about unfinished courses should be drummed home to patients. This allows the bacteria to ' strategise' biologically. A very useful article.

i think it is a good call at the right time and the non medical populates of the world team-up with the research world to find a solution to this worrying situation. my concern to this worrying development is the West and its American allies lack of respect for natural order (indiscriminate pollution, gaysim/lesbianism), couple with other vices could cause some of these problems.

It is true that common ailments mentioned above are now threats to life to today.Illegality on the part of drug sales are rampant, poor adherence to prescribed antibiotic treatment and its contraindications are ignored, poor environmental and personal hygiene are the possible cause of bacterial resistance to antibiotic therapy.I think strict monitory and proper health education on drug(antibiotic) therapy is paramount thank you.
