My big question is how prepared we are as a nation to initiate electronic records? Its a very complex and yet can be very rewarding for patient care. Just a side note, in the Nation of the 'United states' where computers and technology is born, E-health / documentation is just about 75% of the population with a recent mandate by govt to get all healthcare systems into that level.
I have access is granted allied health professionals and others in the healthcare industry with proper training. (am just saying...)
I have been around and worked at the "Korle-bu teaching Hosp., the NATIONS Premier health institute" not sure I will premier an instituition where people sleep on the floor for care. We Can Do Better! not sure if we as a people need to change or and hope our "hmm..... leaders work up from their sleep"

Good news. Dumsor is an impediment but we've got to start somewhere, anyway.
It's important to think about training folks in this hi-tech. field so that we'll be ready when it's fully implemented.

As a Ghanaian and a dental nurse system i can only recommend the Ghana government to copy and adapt somethings from germany to help improve our various sectors in ghana.
