i think your are not well informed. what you sholud know is that the ghana medical and dental council of ghana are mandated by law to ensure that any one who comes out as a doctor has gone thru the requisite training. beside ... read full comment

If they remain in the rural areas, which schools will their children go, the cyto? They will also want their children to attend some of the best primary schools which are mostly located in the urban areas.

Well done WHO for assistance to UDS and well done to Dr Sam Bugri and UDS for the strategic plan to get the UDS doctors serve the rural communities in the three regions of the north.If religiously implemented,it will go a long way to solve the problem of shortages that put pressure on the government to import doctors from Cuba who do not understand the culture of our people.Nurses and midwives trained in the three regions of the north accept postings to the rural communities and I believe the doctors from UDS will readily buy into this plan.Dr Bugri,Niipook bonchiann.
