By distributing mosquito nets you are only tackling the syndrome and making our citizens complacent.
Why not embark on a root-cause educational programme to let all know that, to eradicate the problem, one must first eradicate the mosquito which carries the parasite. To do this means all stagnant water which permits the mosquito to thrive must firstly be eliminated. Citizens should assume responsibility in their local areas to ensure that there is no stagnant water.
Let us revive our self-help mentallity
