This man should stop running his mouth in the media and go to court. What is he afraid of. Does he think he understands the Hippocratic Oath better than those who take it? Pls now am tired of these calls. Go to court.

I know if Ghana were USA one day a disgruntled person who lose a family member under these circumstances will go to a health facility and turn the gun on doctors and other health professionals.
I pray this does not happen but if it does the the gun should not only be turned on the doctors but also personnel of government department and agencies who fail to address the concern of workers until they take this actions which I know battles their conscience and yet they have to take pushed by survival instincts.
I feel bad posting this but am just tired of the callous 'murder' by doctors in collaboration with government through strike actions. God save our motherland.

Doctors have the right to strike to press their demand for better salaries and conditions of service. Are the executive and members of legislature better humans than doctors? Take note that what is good for the gunder is also good for the goose!

The problem with us Africans is that we fear/hate to face reality until reality faces us and we are caught unawares, then we start asking our selves how could this happen. Who would have imagined that cracks in a building unattended to could level a three storey building flat as in the Melcom disaster.
You have never lost a close relative under such avoidable conditions. I did and frankly had to control and stop myself from taking to the gun. It was very painful and I felt like doing it; sacrifice my life to register the strongest ever protest and stop the hundreds or more innocent people who may follow in losing their lives for no fault of theirs. The doctors will definitely be paid but can they bring my sister back to life?. That is the reason why the labour law stipulates that they should not go on strike no matter what.
Is not everybody who could hold back the pain and anger I went through. What I said is a possibility, let us be proactive and stop it before it happens. In any case if you were to have the brain enough not to grasp not only superficial import of what I posted you would have noticed that I actually empathised with the doctors and emphasised the need for government to up and doing.
Which one will be more disgraceful to humanity, thinking aloud and stopping it from happening or waiting like the ostrich until it happens, as you are dummelheadedly prescribing.

That is the price we pay for training practitioners or the socalled doctors without serious exposure to ethics and social science; the result is that they come out thinking that all they are there for is to treat people and make money like anybody else. I am ashamed to have relatives taking part in this strike who call themselves doctors. If they feel they are treated unfairly, we don't they quit and set up their own practices. In that way the government can collect taxws from them. Central governments must devolve itself from dealing with these greedy bastards and let the communities and districts deal with them. Its amazing that Ghanaians should tolerate this nonsense of a strike over SSSS

Dear Noble Doctors, you have a case, you are all right because what we see in our political landscape regarding exravagance, arrogance and affluence justify your stance but for - The poor, destitute, nobodies etc please reconsider your decision and negotiate with the authourities. For the sake of LOVE please don't follow what the evil dwarfs with sharp teeth are looting. Again, this goes further to advise our politicians to sit up and do the right things for the people else oneday - ARAB SPRING/POSITIVE DEFIANCE will surely happen here in Ghana. Please don't underestimate that becuase only few and selected people are chopping under the auspieces of corruption, tribalism, nepotism, party colours etc.

There are several interventions that I personally regard as waste and a way to siphoning money. The rlg laptops to individuals is a typical example. How do we account for them. How do you know who has got and how do they account for the cost? The idea is good but system is bad just enriching someone elswhere. The best thing the Government could have done was to build IT Centres in the communities and installed them there for the commnunities and not to individuals. We have started cracking the bones and we shall soon touch the marrow. Our leaders do not set our priorities right that is why we sre suffering at this point. This is the begining and harder times are ahead if our leaders don'f change
