That was 2007, according to GMJ- Ghana Medical Journal.
This is a sign that health care across the country is slowly improving. For Ahafo-Ano South District to record zero maternal mortality is a huge progress. This shows that the quality of maternity care in Ghana is improving.
Investing in girls and women - pays.

According to WHO figures for 2006-2007, there were 4000 maternal deaths per 100,000 live and still births in Ghana. So this is good news for Ghana. NDC all the way..
