Isn’t it a big shame exporting nurses when the population to health care worker ratio is 2000:1 on average?

Meanwhile, our health facilities are understaffed. What a QNET government.

Do your work with diligence and say it as it is. The country hasn't got the means to absorb its trained nurses internally so why not hire them out where they are needed?

YOU HEALTH MINISTER, WILL YOU SEND YOUR DAUGHTER TO ANTIGUA? IS THAT WHAT RESET MEANS? ANYWAY THEY VOTED FOR YOU AND I BELIEVE IS SOMETHING YOU PROMISED THEM.

It's so sad we send export our professionals abroad and import street beggars to replace them. Sending our nurses to the Carribbean shows how desperate Ghanaians are looking for job. I saw the nursing smiling when boarding the plane. In Ghana, the greatest incentive going abroad is the aeroplane people board.
It's extremely sad that government spends our meagre resources to train professionals we don't need. Why don't need the nurses why continue to pay the Nursing Training Allowance, what for? We are suffering as a nation because we grow what we don't eat and eat what we don't grow. We need politicians who can think!

What are the processes involved in the selection? Party people or Minister's constituents or what?. I haven't heard of this travel until departure was announced. We are all Ghanaians.
