Im not sure if the head of the fda made these statements based on scientific research or to score points. All evidence todaye suggest vape etc are a better alternative to pure tobacco products. Why is the fda not advocating for a ban on alcohol which kills a whole lot more than these devices. The argument of made to encourage young people not to engage in this trend is fine but to lie and state they were worse than pur tobacco products smacks of the intersection of personal opinion over scientific facts. The fda shamelessly endorses alcohol which is by far a worse killer no? Why doesn't the fda argue and advocate for the legalization of Marijuana which scientific studies have shown contains several medicinal benefits. Its all politics and a lack of proper understanding
