The healthcare system today is worst than what it was in the 1960's solely because of the lack of political leadership and finding qualified people to run these healthcare facilities. Politicians who can readily get care in other countries do not think about the people who elected them. The politicians who are mainly derive based on party or tribal basis have no empity for the poor in the towns or villages they do not live in. There is no post medical education or residency or fellowship training facilities any where in the country. What a shame. Ghana, let's wake up because we are failing our people and are falling below the basic requirements of healthcare for a human. Ghana can form a Ghanaian Specialist and sub- specialist forum using Ghanaian Specialist and sub specialist and who are familiar with the needs of the country that can assist the government in solving some of the healthcare needs of the country. We can get a volunteer diaspora specialist and sub specialist group together to start residency and fellowship programs that will upgrade our medical system. YEN
