The youth organizer of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Brong Ahafo Region Kwame Baffoe, claims the coffin used in making mockery of the party’s Flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto launch, had in it the remains of son of Bernard Allotey Jacob.

“The coffin had the body of the son of the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC. Kwame, there was a dead body in that coffin which was used to mock Nana Addo”, he alleged on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra.

According to him, it was the wish of NDC party members to see the torch bearer of the NPP dead and buried but the situation reverted and caused the death of the son of the outspoken politician.

He claimed spiritually, he saw a dead body in the coffin and his instincts have been vindicated following the bereavement of the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC

Some supporters of National Democratic Congress (NDC) during its manifesto launch at the Sunyani Coronation Park carried a coffin and put Nana Addo’s poster on.

It is unclear what message the supporters were seeking to communicate, particularly when some persons in the ruling party, have attempted to use the health status of Nana Addo as a campaign tool. The party has also said they will retire Nana Addo this year, to kill his dreams of leading the country.
