Dont believe the hype from this pepeni criminal, all they want to do is steal your money and destroy anything of value you have built . The system is geared up in such a way that everyone you need has it in his mind to steal your money thanks to JJs pepeni/ayigbe alliance of evil against the Akans . The ideology of the ndc is a reflection and manifestation of pepeni/ayigbe alliance of the destruction of Akanland values and colonization of Ghana for their personal gain. Bawumia is a thief and a liar , what innovative plans , are they not all ideas that you have stolen from those who developed them. Your presentation show that they are all half baked badly prepared because those with the copyrights or did the work were not aware of you intentions . Nobody in his right mind or with any true understanding of the science of development of nations would ever turn to the Chinese for any solutions and we in Ghana should know better , just look at what they did to us in the NDC 8 years , idiot.Wherever Chinese influence and capital is dominant the people are backward , retrogressing and in misery, thats a fact. We know that Bawumia must have used his mallams to do juju on Nana so Nana is blind to all this stupidity coming from this very toxic fool Bawumia. I am going to break things down here for all to understand. Being able to read or being literate doesn't mean you are educated no matter how many Phd degrees you can boast off. on the issue of galamsey what really destroys our country causing the poisoning of the waters and barrenness of the land are the heavy metals including mercury and cyanide. The quantities of this product could not be imported into this country without the political blessing and pro-activism of both the exporting country China and ours. China is an exporter of economic terrorism and undermining our economic potential by actively corrupting our willing politicians and strategically destroying the future of our children. These are the allies of pepeni Bawumia , Mahama and all other Akan haters and their traitors amongst us. Where in the world today could you transport such quantities of these poisons mercury , cyanide and such without it being monitored? Can China claim they didnt know? the bill to now sort out the sanitation , water cleaning and waste management is now over $ 40 billion DOLLARS. Why do we we need Chinese money when the American EXIM bank has publicly offered us tens of billions with the much needed technology yet they are ignored as only Chinese and arab/muslim money is acceptable? I have said many times that the corner stone of any country's development are the diaspora , check Germany Japan China etc but in our country infested by Islamic stupidity we have rather a whole ministry for Zongo stupidity instead of just deporting them.the pepeni /ayigbe conspirators together with their Muslim and Chinese allies continue unabated to destroy our Akanland and push our people into poverty under the watch of kwasiapsanyin Nana Addo. NDC lost the elections because most Akans and patriotic citizens realized this party does not appreciate or reflect the true interests of the people but rather its a mafia criminal organization that will cause the eventual bloodshed among our people. After the death /murder of Mills NDC lost all its appeal and there was no hope it would ever get back on the right track to serve the interests of the people.NDC is a disappointment and will end up on the landfill of rubbish organizations . NPP from the looks of things will most likely also be joining them soon and in their place the AKAN freedom movement will rise. Anytime an Akan actually does something good or worthy for the nation some pepeni , ayigbe , Muslim or some other minority comes and destroys everything dead, that is the fact. 58% of our bauxite was handed over as a step to colonize the wealth of the Akan , were in the world would a minority be given such privileges if it was not to undermine the majority. All natural resources should be nationalized including gold , then properly developed as sustainable businesses then privatized through a coupon system so all citizens become direct owners . We are definitely a nation of idiotic fools , i have for a while decided to hold my peace because it seemed we have a sensible finance minister making the right moves but this toxic pepeni kwasiapanyin Bawumia has erased all good. Atta Mills went to bed with this Satan and it cost him his life together with 200,000 hardened criminals they sent here that have poisoned our water bodies and long term devastated our economy. China has ignored over a billion of their citizens in dire need of the entering into the post industrial era and come here and promise WHAT? I said that this Bawumia is the reincarnation of the devil and evil that air brained Nana has put in his office. He continues with his project of the islamisation of Ghana with the establishment of an Islamic university to breed toxic propagators of evil in our land. He blocks all Akan diaspora private capital in the tens of billions because its from primarily Christian countries. Where in the world has China given capital , technology and industry for another country to develop? The only reason why this is on the table is to make Ghana a suspicious ally at best to our western civilizations and other christian countries . We saw an influx of Islamic money which we don't need yet everyone played dumb because the political oligarchy is playing ball with the Muslim caliphate and soon our stubborn Christians will start seeing their children's throats being turned toward Mecca like goats and slashed . My brothers arm yourselves like our friends in Denkyira but wait for the clarion call to wipe out this cancer amongst us. Enough is enough

Omanba Pa, Islington-London, NPP has worsen the situation. They are also clueless in translating their vision into reality.
To create jobs means embracing the diversification of both the economy and the export mix. Unfortunately NPP will talk the talk but will not walk the walk. This means the NPP government should provide a congenial atmosphere to spearhead job creation through massive industrialization and unique services that satisfy fully the needs and wants of global and local consumers.
Progressive countries with the widest range of sophisticated and unique goods and services which satisfies fully the needs and wants of global and domestic consumers are the one with the vibrant economies, less unemployment, strong currencies, phenomenal job creation opportunities, and highest GDP.

Diasporeans always want to contribute to their beloved country but government tax policies make it nearly impossible. First off, plant and machinery brought into Ghana are taxed heavily completely ruining the chances of setting up a viable business because these taxes ramp up capital expenditure.
Then you have too many corrupt government agencies trying to extort money in the name of regulation and other unnecessary charges and compliances.
Setting up a registered business in Ghana is a nightmare with so many levies that go to line individual pockets. We have illiterate goroboys who serve as middlemen taking bribe for civil servants. They frustrate your business and inflate levies because it is very difficult to come by credible information on the correct charges.
Charges and levies, especially at the ports, shoukd be a matter of public information. In this age of the internet, one should be able to access information and charges without being duped by middlemen.
Government should maintain a diaparean register and allow diasporeans to transact business in ghana, contributing in good and services without hindrance. A diasporean should be able to bring plant and machinery, set it up and employ people without customs holding such plant and machinery unless punitive and prohibitive taxes are paid. We are sabotaging our own economies by such acts.
Rather than imposing taxes, government should be supporting diasporean entrepreneurs.

The problem of Ghanaians are more than that when it comes to diasporans. It's one thing to have a database of our skills ,it's another thing if our skills will be utilized or needed in Ghana .Look, a local rural bank in my town depends on savings and giving out loans as sources of revenue.I advised them to have other services like keeping customers' special documents like WILLS, papers on their properties, marriage certificates, building plans, jewelry, etc for a small fee.I even went there with a business idea(for a share) just to use its customer Database, not funding .But they turned everything down. They don't need our ideas or skills because they require work, not goofing -off.
As to the Summit I think the real issues were not discussed ,instead they called us whiners.
I wanted to hear something about a website and contact line for diasporans to channel information to the Diaspora Ministry (if any) in Ghana.
I was hoping against hope they would talk more about our burning bread and butter issues and how to entice people outside to do business and ultimately move back home.
I was hoping there would be a"suggestion Box" somewhere electronically that would allow us to log in with our concerns, dreams and aspirations.
I was also looking forward to hear them address the issue of the gov't creating business incubation park( that is equipped with all startups tools) for the diasporans and Ghanaian entrepreneurs .
I had wanted to hear more about what is preventing us from investing and moving back and how to fix those problems .
Who knows the contact number or email of the new ministry for the Diaspora Affairs(if any)?
Anything short of the above mentioned concerns is just a business meeting instead of a SUMMIT for Ghanaians in the diaspora.
I bet four years from now no action will be taken and there will be another SUMMIT just to discuss the same things.
I always write about MEDICAL TOURISM,which can single-handily solve our unemployment problems and perhaps bring back our medical doctors home(even if not to stay permanently)If we're serious let's go to Israelis and learn from them .They know how to bring their people home so as to turn a desert land into an agricultural power and industrial power House.
Let's be real. The Ghanaian Governments don't want disaporans home;just their money.

The call for Ghanaians in the diaspora to invest their assets in Ghana, in order to improve the Ghana economy, is a laudable one. I support the sentiments, but I do so with plenty of caution. If you are part of the Ghana Ian diaspora, and especially if you live in any of the western countries, then making enough money to live in those countries, and having extra to enable you to invest is a huge task. If you are in the normal economy, and you are not involved in illicit drug or other such businesses, then you are careful not to dissipate your assets. I must warn you. Ghana has the feel of the "wild, wild west". It's okay for the President or Vice President, or a Minister of the government, or even an "ohene", "togbe", or "odikro", to make a speech and urge you to bring your assets into Ghana. You, on the other hand, must do a risk benefit analysis. First, you should know that Ghanaians generally do not respect "capital". This statement is true even in the new government, though the new government is better than the previous one in the way they look at your investment. Secondly, if you decide to "invest your assets" in Ghana, then it is absolutely imperative that you move back to Ghana and live in Ghana full time. You cannot delegate the management of "your assets" to ANYONE in Ghana. Not your father, or mother, or brother or sister or cousin or nephew or niece. Similarly delegating such management to a trusted "friend" will be fatal. Ghanaians have the mistaken believe that if you live or have lived abroad, then you must be rich. If you are rich, then they may "take" whatever of yours they want! They decide, not you! If you are in the diaspora, no doubt you would have heard or read about the graft, extortion and theft and lawlessness that is standard fare. They group it under the general description of "corruption", but it's simple criminal behavior. If you bring your assets, you then have to deal with the local policeman, or clerk in the bank or government licensing office, or unethical lawyer- - all of whom have a mind to rip you off! I could write more but I think you get the idea. Caveat emptor!

The government has a penchant for pedantics regarding involving Ghanaians in the diaspora but it is all chatter and empty rhetoric. For 30 years, we have had a white American as the Ghana Honorary Consul to Houston when we have very qualified people like Kwame who could better do the job of promoting foreign investment in Ghana. The Consul's job is not only about issuing visas but creating trading relationships for Ghana and in that regard, the current Consul has failed abysmally.
Besides running to Ghana every 3 months to ingratiate himself with the officials and singing their praises to ensure that he keeps the job, he doesn't really do much. To add insult to injury, not a single Ghanaian works or has ever worked in his office. And now he has his grandchildren working over there as he physically does not do any of the work.Is the Consul job a dynasty to be passed on from generation to generation? And what is he hiding by excluding Ghanaians from working at his office? We appreciate his service but 30 years is enough as we have enough qualified Ghanaians in Houston with the advantage of understanding the culture and economic dynamics of the country who can do a better job. And you should never discount the intangible benefit of patriotism and loyalty to one's place of birth, no matter how long one has been away. Getting diasporans to rwpartriate their hard earned savings to Ghana starts with creating the conditions for Ghanaians to stay put first, then diasporans will come home and stay put. The current conditions in Ghana are promising only if one is registered with a political party. This is wrong! Dubai citizens don't practice illegal immigration because the motivation is not in Dubai. The Dubai leaders have created the conditions for their citizens to stay put in Dubai.

Then make things easy for us to relocate. It is almost impossible for medical doctors trained outside Ghana to open up clinics in Ghana. There are a lot of impediments.Meanwhile, these doctors have been trained in renowned clinics. We all want to help but there are too many impediments. We have a better theory- practical training than our colleagues in Ghana. Can you imagine a medical consultant in Europe or USA been asked to pass an exam. in Ghana before he is allowed to practice? You can`t compare the standard of Ghana`s medical schools with those in Europe or USA.
