  Congratulations to Awuah for being recognized for his achievement. It comes as no surprise that MacArthur Foundation will bestow the award to Awuah for his tireless efforts in making his dream come true.The guy's success story should be praised by all Ghanaians. But for once Ghanaians are silent.There are no comments on this thread because Awuah's success in a non-controversial issue. Ghanaians like controversial issues so they can resort to name-calling and insults.

Patrick Awuah set himself an objective and he worked hard to achieve it. The award recognizes his achievement and there is little -if any- doubt that the award money will be put to good use. His sense of patriotism is unparalleled at a time when personal profit maximization is the goal people in public service! Recall his active role in the Senchi National Economic Forum (2014)! Since the graduation of the first batch of Ashesi students, Patrick's name has been mentioned in every issue of "Person of the Year" here at ghanaweb. That feat alone tells a lot about the high esteem in which the man's name is held among readers here.
