  This is good, confirming the well-known fact that compassion is in our DNA.
  
  But let's pause for a moment to think: should we go through this every year?
  Based on current global trends, the rains might come down even more heavily next year.
  
  So what really could make a huge difference, is the following.
  
  Gather all the key Ghanaian experts in the Toronto area--one can find every conceivable expert in any profession in the Ghanaian community.
  Let them offer their services, no strings attached, to the Ghanaian government.
  The services in question would include:
  (a) assessment of the root causes of the annual flooding events,
  (b) better weather prediction for aiding preparation
  (c) solution ideas for better drainage, etc
  
  This would call for structural engineers, urban planning professionals, meteorological experts,
  disaster managers, etc.
  
  At the very least, provide the Ghanaian government with viable ideas, through the High Commision in Ottawa.

  Good idea but first Ghanaians in Dispora must put away the NPP & NDC divide and work together to help problems back home.

  Politics is killing the unity of Ghanaians everywhere. It must stop now if we want to move Ghana ahead! See you at the vigil on Friday

  It is good that Ghanaian Community
  in the GTA to do prayer vigil and
  fundraising money to red cross Canada to take it to Ghana. THE EVENT WILL happen at apostles continuation hall on Friday.may god protect Ghana.
