    Thanks for the correction, Mr. Boateng. You said in your first post that we (Denkyiras) "migrated from the north". So don't you believe we were on transit? Anyway reserve some land for us for our resettlement. Cheers!

    Anyway, Prof Ameyaw's's first name is not Ekumfi but Akumfi.

    The Asantehene's ancestors passed through Asiakwa (present day Akyem territory) before they went to Kokofu and on to Kumasi. Does that make them Akyem?

    My forefathers are from Denkyira but the family moved to Anwiankwanta on the Kumasi Obuasi road.
