The ignorance of commentators so far is amazing. GHC67.5b debt. As an economist I expect Bawumia to give us a breakdown of how this money has been used. Then we can have a better discussion about the incompetence of the NDC government. Kuffuor took Ghana to HIPC and until we were declared HIPC free, Ghana could not undertake any major developmental projects. The West Africa Gas pipeline project amongs other reasoons was stalled. Today if we are experiencing dum sor, it is because we did not act in time when we had the chance. We instead focused attention on building shopping malls for the unemployed to to go and feast their eyes.

Little minded Bawumia and his unintelligent followers who. cannot think for themselves. Bawumia and Randy must ask the British how much was the public debt when the Labour government left office during Godon Brown era and how much is the debt now since David Cameron's government has taken over? I would have thought that at least NPP UK would have advised Bawumia on this unintelligent statement. Oh well. may be they did not know neither. The 'blind leading the blind' situation leading to doom!

it shock me you call yourself a doctor of economics!
NDC might have borrow more than the NPP but as a citizen this is my take:
for 8yrs under the npp my village has no light but withine this 6yrs i have light.
in all the 8yrs i dont have tide road linking my village to the urban centers but now i have a smooth road
my region can now boast of a university.
I can go on and on!
so if the NDC come and ask of my vote i have the trust to give it to them
wether they borrow big or not.
