To God be all the GLORY!! At least, something positive to report, especially about our less fortunate compatriots whose care is left sometimes totally to the medical professionals such as our ambassadors here portrayed. Great Job St Patrick's Univ Hospital, excellent job Araba and Abigail. Hopefully, with people like you and a possible future willingness of our Government and people, mental health will be better supported and our psychiatric professionals will be lauded.

Observing psychiatric patients for 4 weeks in Dublin is nothing. They would not even know how to take "H & P" of a psychiatric patients. Do you even think a Ghanaian doctor will get close to psychiatric patient (mad person as they call them in Ghana).
The last medical student I helped to get an Ob/Gyn "externship" in America one day refused to get up to go to the hospital because it had snowed.

Araba & Abigail, don't follow Arthur Kennedy's footsteps when you complete your medical studies.

HOPE THI EXPEREINCE WOULD CHANGE THEIR PECEPTION ABOUT MEDICINE AND MENTAL ILLNESS/HEALTH IN PARTICULAR.
THEY HAVE NOW EXPEREINCED WHAT MEDICAL PRCTICE MEAN I.E RESPECTING THE DIGNITY OF THE PATIENCE, THEIR VIEWS, CONCERNS AND DIFFERENCE. I HOPE THEE MEDICAL STUDENT HAVE REALOSED THAT THE PATIENTS MAY KNOW MORE ABOUT THEIR BODIES AND SOME MORE ABOUT MEDICINE THAN THEM ALTHOUGH THE PATIENT MAY NOT BE A DOCTOR. SADLY, IN GHAN DOCTORS THINK THEY OWN KNOWLEDGE, ARROGANTLY PLAY KNOWLEDGE MONOPOLY WITH IMPUMITY AND RATHER ABUSE, INSULT DIRESPECT THE VULNERABLE PATIENTS. I HOPE THEY HAVE COME TO REALISE THAT IN THEIR ROLES AS DOCTOR/CLINICIANS, PATIENCE COME FIRST AND STRIKE BY DOCTORS IS NOT POLITICAL AND GIVEN SERIOUS CONSIDERATION.
