You will have to prove yourself in College and in medical school. I do not think it is necessary to give such praise to a boy who has not proven himself at the university level. They are spoiling him.

Before we all get carried away by this frenzy of media attention, lets be real and view his achievement in its proper perspective. Admission to an undergraduate college is just a determination by the admissions committee that you, as well as over a thousand other chosen students, are capable of doing the work expected of a student in that institution. That being the case, gaining admission to these schools is not such a big achievement. And since all the Ivy League Schools have similar admissions standards, being admitted to all 8 of them is really not such a big achievement. Most students admitted to either Harvard, Yale, Princeton or Dartmouth do not bother to apply to all the other Ivy League schools.
I have credentials from three of the Ivy League schools( including Yale and Harvard) and I am speaking therefore from experience. Kwesi may be in for the shock of his life when he realises that the majority of his mates at Yale are perhaps far smarter and better prepared than he is and that he will have to work very very hard to be an average student at Yale.
Sometime in the early 1990's a Ghanaian-born student was Valedictorian at Dartmouth College. I sent him a conglaturatory note. I will cheer loudly and write Kwesi a personal congratulatory note if 4 years from now I read that he is Valedictorian for the Yale Class of 2018 and that he is proceeding to study medicine at Johns Hopkins, Harvard or Yale. Until then, I will strongly advice him not to let all that media attention get into his head. There is a lot of hard work ahead, and I wonder whether the media attention and effusive admiration is preparing him adequately for it.
