Victor, Mikee I gree with you. Mawriz you included. Komla Dumor was a human being like all of us. He made a mistake most Ghanaians do abroad. Overworking to please their white bosses. I know dozens of Ghanaians who behave this way out there. The minute a white guy announces his/her inability to come to work especially during the winter, a black man or Ghanaian will volunteer to please the duty supervisor. Just check when this occured. AFTER CHRISTMAS!! I visited my uncle in London, and he behaved the same way. We spoke mostly on phone from his work place.
Anybody out there in UK, US, China, even in Papaua New Guinea will attest to this fact. It happens even here in Ghana with the Lebanese or Indian companies. It is worse with the multinationals. 90% of readers know this for a fact! Komla Dumor was a fine gentleman, fine. As human and Ghanaian as he was, he made a mistake.

He strived for and achieved excellence. That and the fact that he died so young is what we are mouring him for. If you are tired of reading about him do not click on articles concerning him. Shut up and stop spewing rubbish.

The High Commission fails in its duty to be a rallying point for Ghanaians in the UK. Its website is destitute of events. It does not organize events to rally Ghanians. And yet one journalist dies and all of a sudden a Book of Condolences! The guy was not a Nobel Prize winner. He is not known to have championed a global crusade to alleviate poverty in Africa. He is not the author of some philosophical or political tome which has awakened our slumbering minds.
We appear to have this insatiable appetite for matters morbid. Life goes on. What in the world has stopped because Komlar Dumor is dead?

Please please enough is enough. Let us put a stop to this sickening obsession with the BBC and its employees.Allow the Dumor family to mourn in peace. KOMLA WAS A GIFTED JOURNALIST WHO WORKED FOR THE BBC A UK GOVERNMENT FUNDED ENTITY WHICH PROMOTES THE INTEREST OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT.In the BBC Dumor was just another foreign born journalist period. He was in the employ of a foreign government, not a Ghanaian government, working for the British. In the UK Dumor's untimely death was mentioned only in passing by various news outlets. There were no commentary from 10 Downing Street. There was no great fun fair about his death in the UK. Let us respect ourselves for once fellow Ghanaians. The talented Komla did not contribute greatly to Ghana's well-being no matter what the hero worshipers say. Komla was noted for his objectivity.Even he would be appalled by the media circus his death has generated in Ghana. We have seen various Ghanaian dignitaries falling over each other attempting to air their views about "Africa's great son" and similar over the top commentary. The Ghanaian media scrum has got to stop.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR COUNTRY MAN KOMBLA AFEKE DUMOR.
Kombla Afeke Dumor aka Boss player is no more. Kombla is gone to his maker. Kombla has left a legacy of hard work, humility, enjoyed his job to the fullest
and above all he gave so much recognition to his culture. He was dedicated had lots of humour and passion. Kombla you have left your wife and young children at the edge of the river waiting for you to support them cross it but you are gone. Your children will grow without you been there for them Knowing how difficult it is to raise children in England without a father can be complex and difficult.
Oh Kombla today the stream is dry and the river has lost its power and strength. Wailing can be heard from far and near. People including politicians, some world leaders, diplomats, your collegues are singing praises in your humble honour. But you are not here to give us your infectious smile. Your voice can never be heard any more. Those of us who woke up to listen to your BBC World news will be wondering where you are. Oh Komlba death has laid its icy hands on you. Kombla by your death you have denied your children the love of fatherhood but I believe that there be clips of you for them to hear your voive and see you. But is that enough to replace a loving and caring father? Kombla you did not get this news right. Kombla you are gone too soon. We have never met, and if we do I will tell you how much you were loved by all of us when you left this unjust world. I have written this tribute in your memory because you are not on BBC TV today and tears are running down my cherks. Oh Kombla We will forever miss your God given voice. Oh Daddy Kombla you are gone too soon. I hope yours was not a painful one. May you have an eternal rest. We can only console ourselves eith positive images of you on TV but for how long?
Fare thee well.
