I know Alex Adu very very well. I dealt with him in the US when i had a problem. I contacted him and i realised that he is a fair and principled person. We who have travelled should learn the good practices from where we are. This idea of cheating and doing things based on who you know and connections will not help us Let us leave Alex to do his work.

Reading all the comments here, it appears as Mr Adu mentioned here is only doing his work. We are the very people who blame governments for not checking and stopping corruption.
Let us stop this and have a clean Ghana. We thank God we still have some people who are ready to help stop the wrong dealings and make our Ghana better. God bless you Mr Adu and we shall be praying with you. The truth is only one.

Some Ghanaians always have problems with people are principled and opposed to underhand dealings. Kwame Akoto, if you have genuine problems with the man, have you approached him or any body in his office to present your problem. What avenues have you explored in finding solutions to your problems before going public like this?
Reading your piece, one can tell you are trying to do some dirty work for somebody in his office, because you are already privy to the fact that Mr. Adu is already bullying his staff. Please, this is not the way to go when you think you have a problem. Be reasonable, give it a shot, before you start embarrassing the person, probably because you will no longer be able to do your connection stuff. This article is most unfortunate, very premature and should be disregarded, to say the least.

Our diplomatic staff are nurtured from the Ghana Civil Service where productivity and modern client service relations is an abomination. In fact you relate well with the public at your own risk.
This is so bad that Civil Servants who insist on doing their jobs well are undermined and censured by their fellow corrupt and lazy workers.

Leave Mr Adu alone. If you have followed the right channels I dont think you will have problems with him. I know Ghanaians like corrupt officials who will not follow procedures to get what they want, and will always name-tag any principled officer. These same people will one day turn around and complain there is too much corruption in the system. Alex dont blink! Deal with them as the law allows you. Afterall they have enough time to stage demo's against their president. They should have time to travel and process their documents. I am wondering whether Kwame Akoto thinks being an illiterate is a good credentials and should be proud of it.

Infact Ghanaians hate change and doing what is right. come and see the change he brought to Passport Office, we can all testify pre- Mr. Adu at Passport office , how corrupt the place was, physical access to the venue was a great challenge, human traffic at the entrance, during his tenure, he ensured the place was cleared and procedures were rightly followed. Ghana we shall remain corrupt, poor, undeveloped if we start hating men such as Mr. Adu. God will deal with all those especially Kwame Akoto and his accomplices in the UK for putting up such a publication.
Shame to you all.
