Well, I used to live in Hamburg in the '80s and attended the University of Hamburg, at Damtor, although I did not finish my program in Chemistry before I left.
I first lived on Dillstrasse, then Hamburg 13, and later in a student hostel on wiessendam. Since I left for the United States, I've visited Hamburg twice and I still have the fun memories of St. Pauli's night clubs and night life on Reeperbahn.
Do you still have “Sahara night club” on the sinful mile? Good ‘ol days, indeed!!
I like what Mr. Beddy is proposing here, but I strongly disagree with him on the leadership age cap (fatwa): 35 years or less for leadership positions (if that’s not a typographical mistake).
How the hell are you going to get good leaders—with knowledge, experience, wisdom, money and other pizzas that go with good leadership, but saying you need 35 years or younger? That's very discriminatory and shouldn’t be one of the qualifications criteria or is that some youth organization?
So, Mr. Beddy, do you want some of the members, not leaders, to be older than 35 years and what should they contribute to the organization? Let people contest on their own merit—younger or older!!

It's hard and unfortunate for Mr Beddy making such a proposal for the leadership of the new Ghanaians in Hamburg and its surroundings. Considering his experiences with the "Old Hamburgers", I belief, nothing works effectively with them besides "pull him down" attitude. It's time a new concept is develop to attract the new generation, which is exactly this age range of 35. Many of the guys within this range speak perfect German language and better English than the old ones. Certainly, the old Hamburgers can be part of the new system and share ideas with the new generation. What has to be clear to all of us is that the old hamburgers had many chance establishing or attracting the young ones in a way of forming very solid cultural base for the young ones but have failed very miserably, so let's give the 35 also a chance.
