"Nana Addo Ladies Club" in London thanks all

"Abawaa", on behalf of the entire "Nana Addo Ladies Club" says, thank you to all those that attended the Club’s two years anniversary celebration held at the Selby Centre, Tottenham, London N17 8JL, on Friday 25 October 2013. It was a "must see" or "must never miss" event. Many Ghanaians attended.

They were all immaculately dressed, according as anticipated to grace the occasion. Their well wishers and relatives will be proud of them when seen on television, celebrating a club that is aiming and aspiring to alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians back home.

What a successful event it was. Nana Akufo Addo with his wife, Mama Rebecca, Chairman Atta Krufi , Hon. S.K. Boafo and the former Mayor of Accra under the Kufuor NPP-led government and his wife were all present.

Nana Hemaa Dokuaa, many Ghanaian chiefs resident in London, the NPP National Chairman in France – Mr Owusu Kanin and wife, Mr Yeboah Frimpong, alias Dr Ntiki ( NPP National Chairman of the Council of Elders, France branch) and his wife were among the dignitaries at the event. There were representatives from the sister Clubs in Netherlands, Sweden and the US. Wow!, what a great anniversary in a form of dinner-dance it was. The pageantry of the occasion is now the talk of the town.

All those that failed to attend for one reason or the other have sorely missed out on a unique occasion to interact with the Special Guests of Honour, Nana Akufo Addo and wife, Mama Rebecca. Maakora of Peace FM radio, Ghana, was the Master of Ceremony (MC).

Kuuku Spencer of Naspa radio and TV, Chief Rabbi of WBLS, DJ Valentine, Osofo Mafia of Africa radio and many others that I cannot at the moment remember their names were all there to give the occasion live coverage. Nana Sarkodie Ababio, alias DJ Sources of Sources radio, took it live from the studios of his radio station.

The "kete" dance by "Abaawa’s mum and her troupe of four young children was marvellous. The food was mouth watering. Everything about the event was excellent. Mr Arthur and family were brilliant, so was the Kwame Owusu Ansah’s family. All those that attended were excellent and well-behaved Ghanaians.

The Club members are grateful to all the radio stations, Ghanaweb, Modernghana and SpyGhana that carried out various publicities on the event in the weeks and days leading to the anniversary celebration.
