All Is Set: Demo to hit Mahama in USA on August 6th

We are ready to demonstrate against President Mahama’s and his inept NDC government
On August 6, 2014.
The incessant calls that we have received since the release of our press statement are simply overwhelming. They have further strengthened our resolve to work harder, energize our publicity, and get more Concerned Ghanaians onto the streets of the US Department of State, Washington DC.
Come this Wednesday, we will be pushing further our commitment to seek social, political, and economic justice for our families and friends back home.
We are not perturbed in any way by the fabricated and malicious publication by NDC Washington that appeared on Ghanaweb on August 4th, 2014 under the heading “Ghanaians in USA still have confidence in Mahama – NDC Washington.” See (http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/diaspora/artikel.php?ID=319698). We are not surprised by the ridiculous posture of members of NDC Washington who are part of Ghana’s problems for which Mahama is responsible. They are a bunch of greedy bastards who are enjoying government-sponsored scholarships and shady deals in the USA at the expense of the already depleted hard earned taxpayers’ monies. They see nothing and hear nothing about the corrupt Mahama/NDC government. They are the new Rick Van Winkles in town who are living in their own fool’s paradise. We are not tolerating their balderdash while our nation sinks. No, not at all.
They are finding ways to insult the intelligence of the real Concerned Ghanaians in the Diaspora who are indeed partners of Ghana’s development and growth, and who are devoting their precious time to engineer this demonstration. These NDC hirelings have even tagged the impending demonstration as NPP planned. However, let it be on record that the composition of people who will be at the US State Department on Wednesday, August 6, cuts across all political divides, and generally represents all facets of life. We can even state unequivocally that there are NDC members in the USA who have called to expressed their disenchantment with the corruption- ridden Mahama government. “We never expected this mess of governance from Mahama” one NDC member of the Texas chapter lamented to the organizers of the demo on condition of anonymity.
Ghanaians both at home and abroad are simply appalled by the corruption, incompetence and cluelessness of John Mahama and his appointees. That is the simple fact. Interestingly, CNN.com on August 4th, 2014, carried a story titled “Obama's favored African nation hits the skids” (See: http://money.cnn.com/2014/08/04/investing/ghana-africa-economy/index.html). The global news network lamented on how a nation with a robust economy and good governance in the not too distant past under the able leadership of President J.A. Kufuor has been brought down low on its knees in the six -year rule of the Atta Mill/Mahama government. The network wondered how an African country that Obama fell in love with and visited first in Africa could be heading so fast into the ruins of poverty and depravation after all the successes it was able to chalk under the Kufuor- led NPP administration.
Now, if such a report is coming from a frontline news outlet like the CNN, how could fellow Ghanaians who should be up in arms against the greedy and corrupt Mahama government be glorifying such repugnant mediocrity?
Well, we are not in the least bothered by such a display of hypocrisy from these unpatriotic, selfish and greedy errand boys who call themselves the Washington NDC. They should keep fiddling while Rome is burning, but we will not. Concerned Ghanaians will stand and demand truth, accountability and socio economic justice from the good-for-nothing Mahama government, regardless.
Concerned Ghanaians will be demonstrating against John Mahama at the US State Department this Wednesday, August 6, 2014. All is set!
However, we are very much aware that Mahama has set aside his official itinerary and is desperately seeking ways and means to avoid demonstrators, but that ain’t happening! We will track him down and expose him for what he and his greedy bastards have done to our beloved country.
The message underpinning the demonstration remains unchanged and strong; “we will continue to expose Mahama’s corruption and incompetence to the international community any time and any given day that he sets foot in the USA, until he and his cronies stop operating their ‘create, loot and share’ Ponzi schemes that channel huge sums of taxpayers monies meant for development projects into their private accounts. In the spirit of togetherness, we will continue to stand with our families and friends back home – unabated – through thick and thin to demand accountability, better socio-economic conditions and improved standard of living from Mahama and his NDC government.”
Be in red or black attire, come and let’s join forces and save our dear nation from tumbling into the dangling depth of the dungeon. It’s now or never!
Let’s show some love for Mother Ghana.
D.C. here we come!
Come one, come all!!
God bless our homeland, Ghana!!!
