An unidentified Senior High School student has allegedly taken her life following the arrest of her boyfriend.

"A Senior High School student has allegedly taken her own life over the arrest of her boyfriend. The deceased, who was in the boarding house, is reported to have taken an exeat to go home but instead went to her alleged boyfriend. The girl's father is said to have also visited the school within the same period to see his daughter but she was nowhere to be found," it said.

According to Crime Check Foundation, the girl’s father reported the boy to the police. Unhappy with her father’s action, the daughter reportedly took her own life.

"Reports say the disturbed father inquired from the school's housemistress, who told him his daughter had signed an exeat to go home. It is reported that the deceased's father got angry, went to his daughter's boyfriend's house, and had him arrested. The young girl, who was against her father's decision, reportedly ingested poison and killed herself," the post added.
