A 40-year-old police officer, stationed at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Ahafo Region, has reportedly died by suicide.

The officer, identified as Sergeant Brown, is believed to have taken his own life while on duty at the Duayaw Nkwanta Police Station’s charge office.

He allegedly used his service weapon to shoot himself.

The tragic incident has left his colleagues and local residents in a state of shock.
