“Renovation Of SRC office not needless” – GIJ SRC Gen. Secretary

The General Secretary of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Naa Adoley Moffatt says that the renovation of the SRC office is not needless as some students deem it.

The recent renovation of the SRC office has stirred controversy in some students of the Institute, claiming it’s a misuse of money considering its previous renovation not so long ago.

Some students of the Institute suspect the renovation to be an opportunity for the new SRC administration to embezzle their money

In an interview with her, she cleared the air that the renovation of the SRC office was done because there were a number of things in the office that had broken down, coupled with the bad state of its wall painting among other things.

“It’s not like we’re just doing it because there is nothing wrong but because there are certain things that have to be fixed”, she explained.
