Are you for real???? Any society with leaders who does NOT strictly enforce the LAWS of the land to check and balance wayward citizens........in my humble opinion....the buck stops with them! PERIOD!

Yes, we are all that you have outlined, etc. etc. But let me remind that every HUMAN BEING anywhere in the world is capable and does of all the evils you have named.
BUT and I mean BUT, their systems of checks and balances works very effectively. THEY ENFORCE THE LAWS OF THEIR LANDS VIGOROUSLY, TO DETER ANYONE THINKING ON EMBARKING ON SUCH EVIL ACTS YOU HAVE CLEVERLY OUTLINED.......

Even with the laws in place, HUMANS will try to break them.

But the results of our so-called leaders in tackling such ills of our society is to give lip-service to enforcing LAW and ORDER, DEALING WITH CORRUPTION and the ATTACKS ON OUR JUDICIARY........

Enough of the lip-service by our so-called leaders and take ACTION!!!! With true leadership, you will see a reduction in the FAILED STATE TENDENCIES that we are exhibiting now.

I will blame our so called politicians or leaders per say...who makes the rules of the country?
