Science is all around us and it's in the very air we breath and all the living things around us, and NOT only in the pale man's land, so therefore expressing their manifestation should be best articulated in our mother tongue as our forebears did in Timbuktu and in Kemet/Kush aka Abyssinia, aka Ethiopia.
English language is alien to us and stifles our ability to express ourselves eloquently, therefore portrays us as "stupid".

Agreed, but which one of our plentiful mother tongues would be suitable for this gesture you have cheerfully and convincingly brought forth before Ama-Ghana?

If we want to give the excuse of which of the languages we can all agreed upon, we're going to remain in the same place without understanding our own natural environment, let alone articulate it the very best we can.
Nigeria's Plateau State has just started publishing science and maths school books in their Tiv language which is neither Hausa,Yoruba nor Igbo. The leadership and stakeholders' concerns were the same as the one I previously put forward.
Let every Region in Ghana start from there e.g. Let Volta Region start teaching science and maths in Evweh language from K to High school with English and Akan as second languages. And Akan/ Ga, Dangomba dominated regions do the same and take English and other Ghanaian Languages as second Languages instead of all these French and Arab these "lost" politicians are forcing us to embark on. French/Arab? Lord have mercy on us.
We need to understand and comprehend science in the way we live as Ghanaians that's the only way we can create new Technologies that fits our environment and new medicines as the raw materials the herbs are already given names by our ancestors which will be easier for the kids to absorb as some of these herbs are already compound names known to us than their Latin names? Is that too complicated to understand heh, euro-centric Africans who are NOT moving no inch and stucked in gear?

Great idea, but do you think we can successful pull it off collectively as a country? In Fact, such is how it's done across Europe. Even in some countries in the EU, English/French is optional or a second language to that of theirs.

It's so sad that the only race on earth that think certain things are "impossible"
Besides, God and "impossibility" do not occupy the same space if Ghanaians believe they're "christian/muslim" and believe in God.

Nobody is making twi national language, the language itself is becoming the predominately language spoken and that alone is good but if not structured properly, it's gonna alienate many Ghanaians. English is NOT working as we all could see with Ghanaians, and so pleased with that, therefore, it should become a subject for second language. And in that sense, other major local languages need to be nurtured in a way to increase the educational forte of the nation.
Most Ghanaians have already demonstrated that they can speak more than one or two languages. The African is by nature is endowed by that ability.
All major language centers need to publish science and Maths books for their regional schools as already started by the Plateau State board of education in the Tiv language in Nigeria.

If you are a regular reader here, you will probably have noticed this pattern. No Ga, Ewe, Northerner says ANYTHING about ANY language being official or language of insruction in a specific laguage-with the exception of one group of people in Ghana . As soon as that suggestion comes, you can take it to the bank- there is only ONE group of people behind it.
It is so annoying to go to a bank, ministry, government offices here and they intentionally IMPOSE a language on you WHEN ENGLISH, the official language is what they should be using.
Other Ghanaians (Gas, Ewes, Northerners) are "pissed-off"with this Language thing.
