Our seas are being plundered by the Chinese and other nationals ... no one to advocate for us.
Our soil and drinking water are being wasted, polluted and destroyed for generations and our elders turn a blind eye.

"My strong belief is that we don’t have the time at all as a nation to point accusing fingers at state institutions and individuals but as a matter of urgency come together irrespective of our political divide, religion, ethnicity or any form of obstacle posing a threat to nationalism, and develop ways in dealing with the canker."
-ASP Afia Tenge
Let me correct my beautiful friend ASP Afia Tenge, lynching in Ghana is not a canker, rather lynching is a tradition; an accepted normality in our antediluvian society that stems from police incompetence and apathy toward enforcing the law. Now the chickens have come home to roost, and there is uproar all across the country as if this is the first time the mob has descended and lynched a suspected thieve.
Suspected thieves have been lynched in this primitive country of ours for years, with some of them burnt alive with tires hanging around their neck. Those faceless individuals' horrible death is alright, but the same horrible death of the nephew of former President Mahama has raised the ire of the whole nation at large.
Just reading your platitudes for Cpt. Mahama suggests to me those who were lynched and burnt alive deserved what they got because they were subhumans. Take note Afia, Cpt. Mahama's death is no greater than the light skin lady in Kumasi Metropolis who was beaten to pulp by a mob who suspected her of stealing money. That was not the end; they stripped her naked and poked their stinging toes into her vagina. Go figure, Afia! She has to live and tell her story. They would have killed her had it not been a good Samaritan who saved her.
My Friend Afia, you can be sure this primitive and backward mob action will persist in a country where there is a break down of law and order. You can bet on it!
May his gentle soul Rest In Perfect Peace.
