  I want to believe strongly that should Spio be bold and decisive in making his intentions clear,he will have a lot of support from the grassroots.He is a fine gentleman with qualities;intelligent,eloquent,experience with high competency in management.Governance is about management requiring innovative thinking and scientific problem solving through prudent policy decisions,innovative project, program development and implementation.What I am not sure is his personal integrity and incorruptibility.But judging by the sort of positions he held locally and internationally I have no doubt at all of his capabilities.I also know he is one of the few old guards loyal and committed to the Founder and likely to receive his full support if he expresses interest in the flag bearer race.However,he stands the risk of jeopardizing his chances if he does not steer clear off JDM as he appears to be supporting him in showing him too much respect.A spade must be called a spade and the likes of Spio should be bold in admitting that JDM was a disaster as a leader of NDC government and party.He was a stark contradiction to the party's ideology as a social democratic party.He was a big failure in superintending over massive corruption and gross mismanagement of state coffers and economy.He obviously displayed little knowledge in government business and run the Country as a personal enclave in the interest of cronies,hence the tug 'incompetent and corrupt' by then opposition NPP, used as a major political weapon against him in the run up to the 2016 election.Spio is certainly a dark horse capable of up-staging all other contenders if he holds his destiny in his hands.There is no need playing the devil's advocate.He should take advantage of the mess and boldly declare his stands as early as possible if he desires to lead the party because he has the personality and quality.

  Only proper internal democracy will see ndc through. Too much confusion and hatred amongst top people in that party. Starting from rawlings. It is a useless party.

  NOT THAT SMART, NOT STRONG IN LEADERSHIP, AFRAID OF TAKING RISKS WANTS SOMEONE TO BE IN FRONT SO HE CAN JUST BE PART OF THE TEAM.
