Your article has raised a lot of issues that need to be tidied up in our constitutional framework and transitional operations. I believe that more justice would have been done if the issues were properly organised and better edited. All the issues raised were very important but I believe that you raise and issue and then wandered off to the next one without completing the first. It is only a suggestion/observation. I may be wrong

I will like to take up one he raised - the [superfluous]banning of chiefs from politics. As he mentioned, we all know that many chiefs participate directly in politics in Ghana without any sanctions invoked against them, as there are none. I have llong taken the position that that clause should be removed from the Constitution and chiefs allowed to participate in politics if they choose so. After all, they are already doing so. There is no such ban in say Nigeria, etc. In Nigeria, for example, it seems being a chief is sine qua non for becoming a successful politician.

Akufo Addo just isn't interested!
Just as we find he is not interested in the Freedom of Information bill.
We are surprised, though, that there is no information about the work of the Constitutional Consultative group in this article, being that are told the author is on radio.
