  Nkrumah was a good man. He was selfless and hardworking. From the beginning Nkrumah was religious and God fearing until his enemies pushed him to the wall and he lost his faith in the very people he trusted so much.
  Look, Kwame Nkrumah was not hateful of J.B. Danquah until he found him to be an enemy of the state and he Nkrumah. Don't forget the assassination attempts Danquah, Busia, Arko Adjei and the rest took against him. Those harrassments will make an "angel" a "demon".
  When, day after day, Nkrumah's life was in danger because of the nefarious activities of Danquah and Busia's cohorts. Nkrumah was even sympathetic not to have hung the man in broad day light.
  That is politics and you can go through the lane of history and you will in no doubt agree with me that politicians do that. When Rawlings came to power, he demolished all that were in his way. Equally, Nkrumah should done worse but he only put J.B Danquah in prison until he died there.
  There is always a price to pay if a politician antagonizes the government in power. Got it?

  What actually had us laughing reading the last jabbing of a job at Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobbey was the "confession" by Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe that life in fact was good for him in mid-1960s Kwame Nkrumah Ghana, 1964-1966, "...far better times...," accordinf to the man himself.
  
  READ HIS LAST STATEMENT: "...since at least the mid-1960s, when I was living at Kwabenya, at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), and schooling at the University of Ghana’s Staff-Village Primary School, Dr. Wereko-Brobby had better promptly retract and apologize for insulting the intelligence of Ghanaians who were either born with or grew up with the gas cylinder, and thus have known and experienced far better times than this uppity country boy could ever fathom...".
  
  Okoampa Ahoofe forgets that was Kwame Nkrumah's "Atomic" Ghana.
  
  Now, his old record, a brilliant and accurate testament to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah:

  "..."And here, it is significantly instructive to observe that none of the myriad putsches and coup detats have been staged by any other than bona fide members of the Ghanaian military. Granted, some rascal civilians are known to have staunchly backed regressivley Darwinian means of political access, including a world-renowned University-educated former prime minister. Interestingly, in July 1956, when President Nkrumah's Convention People's Party (CPP) won a landslide victory, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia rode herd on a delegation to the British office in London, to petition the British Crown, and Ghana's extant colonial overlord, to desist from granting the already-scheduled return of Ghana to self-governance. Fortunately, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia and his right-wing bourgeois reactionaries did not succeed. He would, however, succeed ten years later in backing the military junta that unseated the Nkrumah administration and facilitated the precipitous devolution of Ghanaian national destiny.
  
  Indeed, it is interesting to observe that Ghana's major and, to-date, only international airport is named for General E.K. Kotoka, the very Darwinian outlaw who spearheaded the grossly unimaginative overthrow of the constitutionally elected government of the CPP. For many detractors and outright enemies of Nkrumah, Kotoka's greatest—if also sole—achievement was simply getting rid of an elected dictator. It has often been said, largely by Western academics, that Nkrumah was a heartless and fatuous dictator; these days, one hears Mr. Jerry John Rawlings, the career soldier who ran Ghana for twenty harrowing incontrovertibly bloody years, described as a "benign dictator." It is significant to observe that Mr. Rawlings, whose agnatic parentage is purported to be Scottish, presided over the dastardly kidnapping and summary execution of three Ghanaian supreme court judges, all of whom belonged to a single ethnic nationality.
  
  When one agrees with the Western ideological mythology that Nkrumah was a raw-boned dictator bereft of vision, then it begins to make sense that Kotoka's statue should continue to command the august facade of Accra International Airport, thus perpetually humiliating those of us who incurably believe in democratic governance. Needless to say, the 1966 Kotoka-led coup initiated the barbaric, neo-colonial military dynasty that Ghanaian continue to suffer….
  
  That Ghana's post-colonial political dilemma transcends military dictatorship cannot be honestly gainsaid. In fact, many of the most vociferous civilian opposition party leaders, some of whom are currently sitting in parliament, representing misguided and hoodwinked constituents, are known to have collaborated with Kotoka's so-called National Liberation Council to unseat President Nkrumah. It is also significant to observe that these largely superannuated rascals and executive national, fiduciary muggers continue to dominate whatever passes by the name of "the legitimate opposition." This state of affairs, coupled with a largely under-educated and under-informed electorate, has made it almost impossible to rectify the prevailing socioeconomic chaos ravaging the country...”, by Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr (2004).

Prof Lungu, thanks for you boot to boot matching! but then, I nonetheless opine there is no need arguing with that Akan novice Kwame Okoampa Ahoofe, you know wery well those Akan people ("yen Akanfo") can't understand no matter what. Mostly because of their low Educational backgroud that leads to their ignorance.
  
  Most of those Akan illiterate and 1/2 educated ones have a general problem with reading and comprehending, hence their difficulty in simple understanding.
  
  Remember, our friend C.Y. Andy-K too has once vividly explained the same problem of those Akan bush people.

  I cannot see anything other than his revised assessment of his relationship with Akufo-Addo and the collective agenda of the Akyem Mafia of the NPP to be the most plausible reason for that adoption of vitriolic hatred against everything Nkrumah by Kwame Okoamp-Ahoofe, Jr.
  
  In order to enhance the images of his Akyem relatives and newly-loved political leaders, Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. seems to have taken to erasing every thread of good deed in Nkrumah's political life. He has sought to denigrate the late President so as to facilitate the emergence of Danquah's reputation, for example, from under the treasonous and murderous campaign that buried his once glorious national leadership.
  
  Had NKrumah not been pursued for assassination by Danquah and his cohorts who collaborated with the CIA and MI6 to eliminate their most feared African freedom fighting advocate, the latter might not have ended up in Nsawam and perish in such pitiful circumstances.
  
  So, let Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. eat his crow, and shut the hell up about Nkrumah's human frailties that are no worse than Danquah's.

  PALMER RAIDS. The Palmer Raids (1919–1920) involved mass arrests and deportation of radicals at the height of the post–World War I era red scare. Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer encouraged the raids in the hope that they would advance his presidential ambitions. Ultimately, the extra-constitutional nature of this action destroyed Palmer's political career. He was viewed not as a savior but rather a threat to the civil rights and liberties of all Americans. J. Edgar Hoover, the chief of the Justice Department's Radical (later General Intelligence) Division who actually organized the raids, went on to a forty-eight-year career as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (originally called the Bureau of Investigation). The other principal, Anthony Caminetti of the Department of Labor's Immigration Bureau, remained an obscure bureaucrat.
  
  A wave of strikes, race riots, and anarchist bombings in eight cities provided the context for the Palmer Raids. One of those bombs partly destroyed the attorney general's own home in Washington, D.C. From February 1917 to November 1919, federal agents deported sixty aliens of some 600 arrested as anarchists. More raids followed over the next two months, the most notable being the 249 persons, including Emma Goldman, deported on December 21 aboard a single "Red Ark," the Buford. The most ambitious raids occurred on January 2, 1920, with lesser efforts continuing over the next few days. In all, Hoover utilized 579 agents from the Bureau of Investigation and vigilantes from the recently disbanded American Protective League to orchestrate massive raids against communists in twenty-three states. At least 4,000 and perhaps as many as 6,000 persons from thirty-three cities were arrested. Most were Communist Party members or suspected members. About 300 were members of the Communist Labor Party. Among the abuses documented by the American Civil Liberties Union and such prominent attorneys as Zechariah Chafee Jr., Roscoe Pound, and Felix Frankfurter were abuses of due process, illegal search and seizure, and indiscriminate arrests, use of agents provocateurs, and torture.
