In 2011 There was a tender for the rehabilitation of the Western Rail Line. This tender was won by a Chinese company called Wuju and the project was to be financed with a Chinese loan. Before the elections John Mahama asked for financial assistance which Ibrahim went to Nigeria to bring the money in his jet. When John Mahama won the elections he had to bend the rules to favour Obasanjo's Chinese friends who had not been pre-qualified. To satisfy Obasanjo, John Mahama decided to stop the project so Wuju would not get the project. This is how stupid, corrupt and greedy John Mahama and his family and friends were. How could he sit down for Obasanjo to come from Nigeria to dictate to him in Ghana because he sponsored his presidential elections? What John Mahama rehabilitated was only five km of rail line from Sekondi to Takoradi. Useless and stealing former president.

Affordable housing units and Boankra inland port which were started by the Kuffour Administration were all abandoned by the NDC government. Billions of Cedis went waste because of this insanity. Our leaders still don't get it. Every project regardless of which political party started it is funded by loans borrowed and have to be paid by all Ghanaians irrespective of party affiliation
