  Many of the pre-election promises made by the NPP are things one will expect from a social democratic government. The government now intends to interfere in the economy in terms that are not warranted by their avowed laissez-faire claims. Free SHS, 1 million to each constituency, one village one dam in the north, a factory for each district and government sponsoring the digital movement as well as many other things government will finance will eventually be a bigger financial burden on govt than ever. At the same time, they have promised to lower taxes. Government will be a bigger leviathan than ever. These are more social democratic policies than Thatcherite ones. Any wonder we don't hear much of this "property owning democracy" slogan again. Do we really have a realizable goal?

  By the way, Ivory Coast has a population of 23 million yet 15 million have no access to electricity.Trouble is, their govt spend millions on ID Cards which does not enhance or improve their lives.
  
  How do you justify our govt spending millions on ID Cards in the face of high infant mortality rate,water-borne diseases,poor sanitation,squalor and unemployment? The govt can easily put some "security" features into the "NHIS" Cards. For Example, foreigners living in Ghana can have their "NHIS" Cards embossed/embedded with the words "NOT VALID FOR VOTING" whereas bona-fide Ghanaians will have theirs "embossed/embedded" with the words "Valid for Voting". Such a small yet effective measure will save us millions. I hope I have made myself clear on this issue. I admire you enormously but I disagree with you wholeheartedly on the issue of ID Cards.

  It is a fact that there is a lot of worker's tier two waiting for the private sector to borrow and invest.
  I wrote on many occasions that Kufuor in 2007 did not want the state to have access to that fund the reason why the Act said that tier two must be run by a private concern.
  It is now a fact that NPP has not got the ability to run the economy and has hired a private U.S. company to run it on its behalf.
  This are some of the things that NPP and Kufuor did from 2001 to 2009 that brought about the Dzizel Yadzi and other scandals. NPP whiles campaigning told the whole word that John Mahama is incompetent.
  So NPP competence is that it gave the economy to another country to run on its behalf.
  A wife who hired another woman to cook for the husband and lay his bed for him said that she is the best cook and bed designer.
