Yes, the name is Agbeli and the writer got it wrong. Does that mean the validity or relevance of the entire article hangs on this petty point? How does that show the cluelessness of the writer? Can't you criticize the article on more substantive issues?
You came up with a similar thing with an article where the writer mistook one Nyaho for another and that was enough for you to completely condemn both the writer and the article.
All your comments are of that nature. You crucify people for even making mistakes that are obvious typing errors or the computer passing off wrong words as correct.

Rather than what some of you think, Prof Lungu's piece promises to be scintillating. It is authentic.
The background information on Gbedemah is conc. I have his biography in the Organisation for Reserach in Eweland (ORE) Series, as he was one of the persons chosen for such by Prof. Amenumey for the first Vol. So I aalready knew about the candy factory and his being a timber tycoon with over 40 employees before Nkrumah returned from the UK. Obviously, by even European standards, he was a rich man then! I didn't know that he sold out and invested in a bank in Geneva!
I also knew about the Nzeribe Affair that reportedly fetched them the loot. Has to do with Ghana changing from the West African £ to her own currency. Gbedemah reportedly conspired with Nzeribe to transport the dissuaded corrency to Nigeria, where it was still valid.
Of course, the pivotal role Gbedemah played in the formation and winning of power by the CPP is public knowledge.
Let's patiently wait for the rest of the story based on secret documents Prof. Lungu has obtained.

While, our spearhead of the struggle for Fair-Trade Oil Share for Ghana continues, it is important for all of us to go beyond what the coup plotters "told".
We must understand why we have to struggle so hard to convince Ghana's current leaders to deal a fair shake to Ghanaians, just as Kwame Nkrumah would surely have done?
The fact that there was no corn flakes or bread in the streets of Accra does not explain Ghana was broke, that, that itself was one of the "fair" reasons for the Kotoka-Afrifa-Harlley-rascal Busia, etc., as "told".
We've been wrestling with some of these questions going on 20 years.
We believe we've found a majot missing link in the information about the history of Ghana, strangely, from official records through a FOI process current Ghanaian officials are in no rush to enact for Ghana.
Go figure!
Greetings.

Why don't you tell us, for a change, about your efulefu father who gave birth to a bastard and proper dzimakpla like you?
I wish it were possible to post pictures here so that I post for your perusal a picture of my father with the Mercedes benz he bought in 1960(after parking and then selling the Jeep he used at Damongo)from his private resources before he and his British partner accepted to work on contract for the CPP regime to set up the accounting dept of the Workers Brigade. How many Ghanaians could afford to buy even a bicycle in 1960?
For readers, my father never received salary from Customs. He was an Acctant-Gen staff sent down to clean the rot at the Long Room in Tema, with added supervisory responsibility over the KIA, that's the Airport. He did his job so well that had he not fallen sick all of a sudden and died in December 1982, he'd have been on TV receiving an end of year award - a lousy TV! That was long before Ghanaians abroad started bringing in and abandoning vehicles at the ports due to inability to pay the high duties, often higher than the cost of buying and shipping the vehicle, thereby creating another loot and share avenue for public officials.

I don't even see why people are making comments. There's nothing to comment on apart from your introductory statements which are not supported by the article because it is incomplete.

Gbedemah was an ardent supporter of Nkrumah and a charismatic person. He was like a Paul turned Saul! I think he sacrificed a lot for Nkrumah and thought his reward was on earth. When he saw that Nkrumah was selfless and not materialistic, he got disappointed. When a lover turns a hater or traitor, it is very dangerous. I have a lot of videos on the Gold Coast and from what I have watched of the prison graduates and the Verandah Boys and the release of Nkrumah from Ussher Fort, Gbedemah was a strategic organiser as he used the portrait of Nkrumah to spread his message. Every man has his price and role to play. To me, I think Gbedemah wanted his rewards on earth while Nkrumah was heavenly bent, having been a former Catholic novitiate.

Nkrumaism is the suspension of one’s analytical reasoning for the cultic worship of Kwame Nkrumah in the belief that he never dies or does no wrong. It is also the wholesale inheritance of Nkrumah’s friends (if any) as heroes and the scathing criticism of his real or imaginary enemies.
Within this ideology, the elements of Nkrumah’s dictatorship: his imprisonment without trial, his self -aggrandizement, his one-party state and his life presidency all constitute a catechism of faith which must be defended on the fake grounds of opposition treason and passionately extolled by blatant lies or by reference to similar evils elsewhere. His disastrous economic policies which left a rich nation on its knees is seen as a great model, and his character as an ingrate is deemed worthy of emulation.
To the Nkrumaists, unanswerable questions are made simpler by postures of diversion and deviation or simple distractions or gratuitous insults. And the most straightforward questions are resolved by the statement that Osagyefo Dr. J.B. Danquah was a CIA agent, or that Nkrumah was voted Africa’s man of the millennium; or that some persons somewhere praised him somehow, or that similar evils existed and were accepted elsewhere; or that all those against Nkrumah are treasonous “Mate Me Ho” nation wreckers and their descendants. There is not a single question the Nkrumaists answer by dwelling on the salient issue of Nkrumah’s arrant dictatorship.

So, be serious for once, massa!
And so, for you, going forward, we must now begin to respond in kind at our own choosing of course.
First, as we've been doing from our corner of the woods and you have remained in yours doing zilch, saying nothing important, is it not about time you started to assist Akufo Addo in truly important matters?
For example, recently you, DR. SAS, ATTORNEY AT LAW, informed us you "have no religion".
Then, on another point, said, "...Couple that with the untenable beliefs promoted by our religion and culture, and you could safely rank Ghana as one of the most illiterate nations in the whole world....And regarding our dishonesty, it is equally widespread as in hell. We all pretend that we can run a republican government alongside a feudalistic one by creating a democracy alongside chieftaincy, or by morphing science with superstition...".
