Why are you surprised when the ex-president is awarding himself a house of his choice which is a state property on top of all his benefits. It seem Ghana has descended to the point where no one cares about the country and it's posterity. Nobody is patriotic, nobody wants to sacrifice for mother Ghana. The meager resources of poor Ghana is being used, abused and squandered from the top to the bottom. The CEO and his management team of KBTH, and the staff who looted, and shared the scares money from the coffers of the hospital should release the statistics of patient admissions, treatments, successful procedures and the number of deaths of last year in KBTH for us to see if they can justify that they deserve to splash themselves with the tax payers money in the name of bonuses. It is time for we Ghanaians to wake up and demand proper accountability not the Rawlings and his NDC so called cadres style and way, but a true accountability from our leaders, Board members of Organizations and institutions. What a people. We have become too heartless, greedy, selfish and self-serving. No country can make any progress and develop if it's citizens are not willing to sacrifice and build a successful and prosperous future. What we should know and understand is that, we might not benefit from the sacrifices we make today ourselves but we are willing to be hungry, be poor, live under strained conditions to build a better country for the future generations to come.
And to the previous writer who commented we should live things alone because the amount involved is not big, well sir I would like to respectively beg to differ with your point of view unless you are one those thieves or is benefiting from these diabolic and unforgivable schemes. I want to ask you when was the last time you or your family, friend or a loved one was sick and you visited the hospital? How was the service and the care you were provided? How long did you wait? Dis you get all the necessary tests and medications? If any of the answers to these questions was no, guess where the money for the care went, in the pocket of the CEO, his Management team and the workers who are paid salaries.
We Ghanaians need to change our attitudes as people. They steal and share from a hospital coffers and you claim the amount is not huge enough so we should not complain, give them chance to manage the country at the national level and they empty the national coffers.

and some of the nurses at Military 7 hospital were sent home without salary before xmas and were not expected to be on duty again until late january 2017.Thieving bastards
