  Let's see Serious Akufo Addo enact the FOI bill without further delay. And don't waste our time talking it is the responsibility of Parliament.
  
  That is bull crap!
  
  Let's see Serious Akufo Addo abrogate that predatory Mahama Act 619, that contract on Ghana' Oil and Gas, that itself is a scheme left for the NDC by the Kuffour' NPP.
  
  Enact PSA as foundation for all of Ghana's Oil and Gas, like every foreign country not ruled by dictators.
  
  Let's see Serious Akufo Addo do all those things.
  
  Otherwise, everything is an executive over-reach, a grab for power, masquerading as unity...
  
  Moving people in/out and creating as many ministries as you want ain't serious business where Ghanaians are concerned.

  The Ghanaian media has the tendency of proffering baseless platitudes and vaunted approbations to proclaim the virtues of political leaders in the country, and in so doing create demi-gods and tyrants over the people. This was the case of Mahama where some corruptible media outlets and NDC misfits unduly raised his profile to an unbelievable levels of arrogance and wanton turpitude.
  
  Let me remind The Statesman that, Akufo-Addo is not the only Ghanaian leader or leader who has offered his political opponents a ministerial position. Akufo-Addo in the 2000 election, contested with Kufuor in the party's flagship spot, and when Kufuor won he made Akufo-Addo his AG and minister of Justice. How is this scenario different from Akufo-Addo and Alan Kyeremateng? Even in an instance when relationship between contestant in the same party had been frosty like Obama and Hillary Clinton in the 2008 US election, there was sufficient goodwill between the two for Obama to give Hillary the topmost position in Cabinet.
  
  It is instructive that the media temper its elation at the defeat of the corrupt Mahama with prudence so as not to create another do-nothing 'African Big Man'. The media should hold its horses, and watch the Akufo-Addo administration with bated breath for the first 100 days before assessment. Anything short of this will be callous and irresponsible.
