I wonder why people flock to such places.The precious blood of Christ cleanses and render the imperfect perfect and never curse any one but looks like these so called men of God plays on the ignorance of Africans to simply cheat and dupe them. God might be sick and tired of these people using His Holy name inappropriately.

Bisi, I am a man and I also have/had the same experience. I am in the US and I go to a church, headquartered in Ghana.
My story is very long so I will truncate it by saying that most of these Ghanaian churches abroad still ...

Bisi, I am a man and I also have/had the same experience. I am in the US and I go to a church, headquartered in Ghana.
My story is very long so I will truncate it by saying that most of these Ghanaian churches abroad still teach as if we are under the Old Testament law.We are now under grace, because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. God is no longer dealing with man as He did under the law. I say all that to say that if God is a good God and loves us so much and the bible says in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is....longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, (NKJV) any pastor who prays that someone should perish is ignorant of the word of God. 1 John 4:7 says God is love. How can a loving God kill His own children. Some of these pastors are doing the work of the devil, for the devil is the accuser of the brethren, according to the bible.
They did the same thing to me. In my case, the pastor has given the church over to this person who accuses almost everyone of being a witch or has a demon.
Enough for now and its a good thing you stopped going to that church. Find a church where they preach the word of God, not where they shout and jump around, performing instead of rightly diving the truth of the Word.

The doctrine of tithes and offerings have made these pastors rich and powerful.Some of them boast of building a university,modern day Solomon cathedral and even hospital etc etc.Dont forget they have been taking tithes and offerings over the years out fear and manipulation using the old testament to buttress their points.
I can't go further! Romans 8: 32... He who didn't spare His own Son,but gave him up for us all ____how will He not also,along with him,graciously give us all things?
Galatians 2:21,,,, For if righteousness could be gained by the law , Christ died for nothing.

It's better you have stopped worshiping at that church,lf you refuse to do what they do,you're branded negative,those so called preachers of Ghanaian churches abroad are horrible

You must admit you were condescending towards people who attended such gathering. It is possible they trust the faith of the pastor just as you trust the faith of Jesus to take you to heaven.
