  Every successful leader around the globe is associated with a paradigm - ideas about how something should be done, made, or thought about. JD Mahama has neither a paradigm nor political ideology. Is JD Mahama a classical conservative, classical liberal, conservative, liberal, capitalist, socialist etc. Where does JD Mahama fit in ideological spectrum? Because knowing where he fits ideologically, would certainly guide his political philosophy about governance. JD Mahama unfortunately has no ideological paradigm, and can't be described as pragmatic either.
  
  This brings to the inane practice of the two main parties going to the northern region of Ghana to pick their vice presidential candidates. Our country today is reaping the dastardly practice of choosing these northerners who are bereft of any ideological underpinning, and creep through the backdoor into the Presidency by default in the event of incapacitation of the substantive elected President.
  
  JD Mahama's lackluster performance as President should serve as a deterrent for the two major parties to discontinue this nefarious practice - it is doing more harm than good in the scheme of things. The northerners from Dr. Hilla Limann to JD Mahama have proved to be crass neophytes in leadership and it is time the two major parties curbed the affirmative action nonsense.

  Do you honestly think that the majority of the electorate read, think or care about what you have written? the essence of communication is to reach out and connect with the understanding of another.What you have written may be very clever to yourself but a total nonsense to the majority of the Ghanaian electorate. Which is the problem with the NPP, a group of people who esteem themselves to be the not to be challenged leaders of Ghana but in truth are misguided fantasists.
