It further specifies how you're perceived irrespective of your capability and this really drowns the spirit man.

Your narrative corresponds to the testimonies of blacks from the diaspora who immerse in Ghanaian culture. Even most transforming is the experience of the culture at the village level. I hope that the organizers of your program would provide opportunity to experience life in a village. Most inhabitants may have social and economic challenges; however they possess over abundance warmth and love for all, especially visitors (of all nationalities and ethnicities).
No doubt Ghana is a peaceful and safe country, however you must exercise ordinary caution in all your endeavors. With time, you would build friendship that would be lifelong enrichment and life transforming.

Great article Akintunde, it's refreshing hearing a young black man who'd travelled to Ghana and enjoyed himself and not focus on our flaws.

I enjoy Ghana very well each time I visit because of the mindset I take. I know so many Ghanaians living in the U.K. who never enjoy their holidays in Ghana because if the mindset they take to Ghana i.e. Foolishly expecting all ghanains they meet in Ghana to behave as the British.

Zakk fuck you. Fuck your mother and father. How dare you call the whites racist? I'm from Ghana and I live in America. I experienced more racism among my black folks than the whites. Leave racism out of the issue and focus on the real issues. You beg the white for everything, yet you call them racist? Start developing your country and stop calling people racist. You Stupid child of lucifer. Do you know how I suffered to get out of Ghana? I will not allow bastards like you to call any whiteman racist. Fuck you again. All we talk about is slave trade! 95% Ghanaians will be happy to be slaves in Europe or America if they had a chance. You are a born idiot. Do you really know how the Great Whitman gave me a second chance in life? Go and fuck your mother.

Your name Naa Ayele is even a bad omen because of its cocaine association. I hope you are not related to Naa Ayele Ametefe or whatever. You left ghana as a second class citizen in your own country before your plane touched down in america. Here is the case of another tribe claiming to be superior to yours and what are you actually talking about ? Were you able to fight them for calling you names ? The white man is your God and you still have your black tribalist God waiting for you back home. I don't see you as a cultured ghanaian. The young man never used any abusive language so why are you using the "f" word to to identify your background ? Don't make any attempt to go further with your crude behaviour, else you are going to be replied in kind. Better take my advice.

Nowhere in your story did you mention that you were looked down upon unlike your African-American who looked down upon Africans as if they are taking something precious from them. Trust me, African-Americans are worse than Whites in the US and I stand by that statement.
We on the African continent consider blacks in the US as our brothers till you encounter their hostile attitude which is quite unfortunate. In Ghana, you can walk miles without anyone pulling the gun on your or being mugged but what about the US? Tell your story to those in the US and explain to them that we are open-minded people who welcome all and sundry.
