It is immoral to politicise the issue of the disabled. Disability has been with us for years and years nobody need to define disability to Ghanaians; the dictionary and constitutional meaning is found right on the streets of our cities , towns and villages. It therefore becomes a didactic exercise defining 'disability'.

I say politicise because the article claims:"...the parliament of Ghana pragmatically enacted the Disability Discrimination act in 2006..." So the question is: what did the government in power then do as a model for future governments to follow?

PS: and whoever you are, please don't delete this posting. I posted this earlier on and the next thing you know, the posting has been deleted. That is academic dishonesty. Put out your postings and let people decide its merits. That is democracy.
