If you are indeed a reflective thinker, you would have realised that President Mahama has collapsed Ghana's economy. In fact, it is only a guzzler who will eulogize laid-back Mahama for supposedly improving Ghana's fortunes.

Mr. President, I am glad you chose this forum to make your pitch for another term in office. It may or may not surprise you that some of us in this forum are more cognitively adroit than the run of the mill average Ghanaian who attend your rallies. You should therefore be prepared to hear somethings you have not heard before from your NDC apparatchiks because over in this forum it is no hold bars - we say what we want to say without fear or favour in the spirit of self expression as encoded in our Constitution.
First of all, your opening paragraph gives you up as someone who lacks attention to detail assuming you wrote this yourself, because your expression that we are being caught up in 'details' and your exhortation that we look at the 'big picture' are contextually oxymoronic, because 'big picture' and 'details' mean the same thing. You cannot juxtapose one with another.
You posed the question: What is Ghana? Those of us who can answer the question would say that Ghana is a Republic and a democracy. What this means is that, there is 1) law; 2) order; and 3) good government. This is our democratic credentials, which we in a democracy must live by. I bet this is probably the first time you are hearing this narrative about democracy, because the vision you set forth (if any) did not include, law, order, and good government. Mr. President, are you presiding over a democratic country that exhibits all three tenets of democracy? Do law and order permeate Ghana's democracy, and moreso good government? What business do you have as President of a democracy commuting the sentences of the Montie 3 criminals who mounted the airwaves to threaten the lives of Justices of the Supreme Court? Most democracies thrive on strong democratic institutions, such as the Judiciary, Parliament, Electoral Commission, Ghana Bar Association, etc., etc. Teach your NDC apparatchiks to respect these institutions because without them, there is no democracy. What about putting strains on the hooligans in the NDC youth wing? It is your responsibility to maintain order in our democracy, you know.
Your government boasts of massive infrastructure in the country. In case you do not know, or not aware, infrastructure financing is a Keynesian (Sir John Maynard Keynes) economic philosophy to fight or arrest unemployment, and also boost aggregate demand and spurn economic activities in the country. Many countries have successfully applied this philosophy to reduce unemployment and increase aggregate demand. An recent example is the US after the 2008 financial meltdown. The US under Obama has created thousands of jobs using the Keynesian approach, whereas in Ghana, Mr. President, graduates can't find jobs and youth unemployment is prohibitively high. Is this government?
Time will not allow me to go into detail why I think your government's retention in power would be a disaster for the country. Nonetheless, I wish you godspeed!!!

Well said Mr Yeboah.
Anyway, Mr President, some of us would like you to address all the bribery and corruption scandals hanging around your neck. What do you have to say about the alleged Armajaro scandal, the Djibril Kanazoe's Ford Expedition gift, STS housing deal, SUBA Info Solutions, SADA etc.
Some of us will never accept any thing either than a full and satisfied explanations on the scandals enumerated above.
Mind you, Mr President, corruption is serious hindrance to economic advancement and to a large extent a breach on citizens human rights. For corruption destroys lives.
In fact, the scandals are many but for time and space, I have only delineated a few here. Address them, Mr President.
Many thanks.

You have 'cooked' Ghana and now that it's 'done' they are using your brother Bawumia, to turn you into a villain so they can hang you.
My prayer is that all discerning Ghanaians stay you you in faith and give you another four years
But Mr president, what is disturbing is how some technocrats who have long retired are brought back to head ministries thereby denying younger and more dynamic brains the opportunity to drive these important institutions. Why is Ing. Boamah still at post at the ministry for food and agriculture?

In Nigeria, the figure is 95.5 million out of 186 million population. The figure in Ghana is 7.3 million out of 27 million.Ours is not the best but you are doing your utmost. Countries such as Uganda, DR Congo,Burkina Faso, Ethiopia etc are not worth talking about. These are world bank and IMF figures/data. You are doing remarkably well even though I do not support NDC nor NPP. I wish you all the best! Rome was not built in a day. Please, be extremely tough on "Galamseyers" because they are destroying the ECO SYSTEM. Pay particular attention to the Western Region in terms of infrastructure. To be honest, Pres, ID Cards are not necessary when people are in dire need of potable water and other basic human essentials. It has not made Burkina or Togo richer neither does it stop crime or terrorism.
